People ask me where I get my ideas for my work. I tell them "just by enjoying the world around me." For example, I love to watch my koi fish gracefully create colorful patterned motion as they swim, gliding over, under and around each other. They were the inspiration for this gourd aptly titled "My Koi Pond."
